Duration of your residency can be 1 or 2 months

We will announce the selected person/people within the first week of September.

The Residency

About the residency

We are located in the countryside of Viskinge, on Zealand. Approx. 1 hour drive from Copenhagen and 15 minutes from Kalundborg. Stoksholmene13 is surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife and this residency is for those seeking calmness and quiet - a place to really immerse themselves in their work.

We especially encourage writers and photographers from all over the world to apply.

We provide:
- Free wi-fi

- Electricity
- Heat
- Sheets
- Towels
- Access to laundry room

- Access to workspace/desk
- Shared access to 3 hectares land with forests, swamp and own little lake.

Residency options

A) Rent the whole house: Stay on your own or bring your family (max. 5 people).

18.000 dkk. per month (around 2400 Euros)

B) Share the residency house with another selected person - We will do our best to make a good match. This way you have to stay here on your own and cannot have guests during your stay.
Each one of you will have your own bedroom (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs) and share the living area of the house.
9.000 dkk. per month per person (around 1200 Euros)

Terms & Conditions
- Transportation and food costs are paid by you.
- You can decide for a shorter stay than a month but the price is the same.
- We will require a first deposit fee of dkk 5.000 (around 670) after you confirm your stay (latest september 9th) and the rest of the payment 2 weeks in advance.
- Once paid and the contract is signed there is no possibility of cancellation or refund.

- You are responsible for cleaning

- Any damages will be deducted from your deposit fee

The House

Built in 1965 by an architect the house is 200 sqm. and consists of:
- A fully equipped kitchen

- Dining area
- Grand living room with fireplace

- 5 bedrooms (2 downstairs, 3 on the 1st floor)

- 3 toilets, 1 with shower

The property is 3 hectares with its own two small forests, a swamp and a lake. Here you find deers, pheasants, rabbits, hares and foxes.

Right next to the house there is another house where we live - "we" is Maria and André (and a little baby boy due late October).
